2009 Event To Help Abandoned Pets

Come join us for the 2009 edition of the Annual Racine Doggiefest, a community project of the Racine Rising Stars and Proper Paws University of Racine. The proceeds of the event go to H.O.P.E Safehouse, a non profit organization, which helps abandoned pets to receive desperately needed treatment and homes. The 2008 inagural doggiefest generated $2000 for H.O.P.E.

This year's event will be held on July 18, Saturday, from 9 am to 2 pm at Proper Paws, 2625 Eaton Lane, Racine, WI. Enjoy the fun activities like micro-chipping, pet agility course, canine good citizen testing, animal demonstrations, pet grooming ideas, photos, the silent auction and more! Bring home gift bags fully loaded with goodies for you and your dogs!

Love dogs too? There are many ways you can help.

1. Donate a gift basket, gift certificate, or any item to our silent auction. It is best to send your completed form by July 1, 2009. Pls. download the form here: http://www.slideshare.net/racinerisingstars/form-for-2009-silent-auction-donation

2. Rent an exhibit booth for $25.00. There are limited slots so send your application by June 1, 2009. Download the form here: http://www.slideshare.net/racinerisingstars/form-for-2009-vendor-application

3. Become a Sponsor… Platinum Sponsor $200.00, Gold Sponsor $150.00 Silver Sponsor $100.00 Or Animal Lover $99.00 & under (Sponsors are recognized in all advertisements and press releases in newspapers, radio, posters, flyers, websites and on-site exhibits) We recommend sponsors to confirm their interest no later than June 1, 2009 .

4. Tell a friend about this event. Email everyone in your address book. Request more event sheets to pass out to friends, family, neighbors and customers. Place event fliers in shopping bags or on you store front counter for customers to take.

5. Come join us for the event! Bring the whole family, especially the dog! There are plenty of activities, snacks and fun.
